My Story
From the Emergency Room
My career began in the trenches of emergency medicine at Centra Health, where I spent a decade treating patients and eventually serving as Medical Director. Those years gave me an intimate understanding of healthcare's challenges — the burnout, the inefficiency, and the enormous gap between what technology could do and what it was actually doing for clinicians and patients.
Building the Solution
In 2014, I founded iScribes to solve a problem I experienced firsthand: the crushing burden of clinical documentation. We built ambient AI technology that could listen to physician-patient conversations and automatically generate accurate medical notes. Nuance Communications acquired iScribes, and I joined their leadership team to scale the technology across the industry.
Scaling at Microsoft
When Microsoft acquired Nuance, I continued as Chief Clinical Product Officer, overseeing ambient clinical intelligence development at unprecedented scale. This experience showed me what's possible when cutting-edge AI meets healthcare — and what's still missing.
The Preventative Medicine Revolution
In 2023, I co-founded Bionic Health to tackle what I believe is healthcare's biggest opportunity: the shift from reactive to proactive care. Using generative AI and predictive analytics, we built a platform for personalized preventative medicine — what I call Medicine 3.0. Bionic Health was acquired by Thrive Life Holdings in 2025.

Today, as CEO of ThriveBetter, I'm leading the nationwide expansion of proactive healthcare and longevity programs.
